New Blog Online
As we move forward into a new semester and a new year, the Ball State Fencing Club is seeing some changes that will be pushing the club forward. Many of these changes will be with the club’s instructional style and leadership, however, some behind-the-scene changes will be occurring with the club’s web site. One such change is the updated blog feature. As you may have guessed, you’ve found the new blog. Much like during the start of last year, the blog is being hosted on my personal web space. There are two reasons for this; one, the club doesn’t have to pay for the hosting, and two, it gives the admins for functionality and ability to moderate the posts easier. On top of that, we also get the option to customize the blog’s main page to fit the look we want rather than having to deal with preset themes on the free Wordpress.com site.
As we go into the new semester, be on the look out for updates to this blog on a regular basis. All the club officers will be able to make updates, post tournament results, and add events to the calendar. With each new blog entry, it will automatically update the status on the club’s Facebook page and Twitter feed. You can find links to these to your right in the sidebar.
I hope you find this new blog to be better as you continue to follow us and read about our updates. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an email.
